FUNCTIONALITY
SOA based platform for the integration, management and delivery of multi-provider and multi-channel financial information (FESB).

MFI cast is an FESB (Financial Enterprise Service Bus), a specialised financial data management middleware product capable of ensuring improved performance and optimisation of infrastructure management, by consolidating and integrating all the required functions into one single architecture. It offers high performance, excellent reliability and open interfaces to ensure maximum integration possibilities.

This simplifies development of new user applications and the distribution of financial information even in technologically varied environments, without internal analysts, developers, and IT groups having to acquire the know-how specific to the information producer.

MFI cast has been designed with the aim of uncoupling the information ‘producers’ from the specific application channels, i.e. the ‘consumers’ who make use of the data and services. MFI cast is a solution that allows the bank to integrate data generated by many different information providers or services. These sources are “hidden” from the final application user, as they are integrated using specialised adapters.

:: Quote Service: quotes on one or more financial instruments by entering the required fields (e.g. book fields on five levels, summary fields, etc.).
:: Chain Service: lists of financial instruments defined by the market, such as baskets, indices and sectors (e.g. FTSE, Nasdaq 100, S&P). The lists can change dynamically (e.g. best and worst performers by market, greatest change, etc).
:: News Service: announcements released by the press agencies and processed by the feed.
:: Lookup Service: search for financial instruments using different criteria (e.g. name, ticker symbol, ISIN code). Search for covered warrants by issuer or secondary information.
:: History Service: or intraday ranges of quotes on financial instruments.
:: Resource Service: to access specific financial information resources from individual providers and those that cannot be accessed using other services.
